Resume: “I’ve been acting all of my life. I’m a big fan of Shakespeare and I did A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Then one of my friends from Howard University told me about a backstage job in [David Talbert’s play] Fabric of a Man. I started working behind the scenes and became the understudy for the leading lady. Then I met Malik Yoba and he told me about What’s on the Hearts of Men and he wanted me to audition. That’s how I ended up doing that. Then I did the film For Real, and I learned so much from Tim Reid. The whole situation was a big fairy tale. I actually have another independent film coming out really soon called The Deviance. It’s a comedy and it’s really different from For Real.”

Future Goal: “I love the classics, so I’ll always do theater. One of my dream roles would be to do the play, Medea. I’d love to perform Medea with Laurence Fishburne as Jason. That’s my ultimate dream. I also love writing, and I’m working on a play right now. I sew as well, and I like working with my hands.”

Fantasy Date: “It would have to be Laurence Fishburne, but he’s married now so I can only act with him. I’d probably go out with Maxwell; I really like him. He has a really sexy voice. A dream date would be to go to Paris and have him show me around town.”

Favorite Flavor: “I’m interested in highly intelligent, mature leaders. That’s the type of men I like. A man’s intellect and his height are sexy to me.”
