Resume: “I did theater when I attended Howard, but the thing that really got me out there was Jay-Z’s video, “Girls, Girls, Girls.” Then I did Back To Reality, which features a bunch of actors who are trying to make it; there are no big names in it. I like doing independent films because it gives you a chance to grow and meet new people. And you never know who’s watching...”

Future Goal: “I definitely want to do more films. Eventually, I want to start producing and probably direct a little, too. I’d like to work with Denzel Washington and Edward Norton. I think Denzel is a very well-rounded actor who always goes for what he wants. And whenever I watch Ed, I’m taken in by him. Outside of acting, I model on the side. That’s where I really started: modeling, both print and runway.”

Fantasy Date: “Prince! I just love how he makes himself a mystery. I love his music, the way he dresses, how he doesn’t speak—there’s just something about him. If we went on a date, we would fly to Europe and just sit and talk. He’d explain his music to me.”

Favorite Flavor: “I like quiet men. If there’s a bunch of guys in a room and there’s one that’s shyer than the rest, I tend to look at him more. I like men with a drive inside them. Someone who’s always working to better himself. I love men who are respectful and funny and articulate. They have to know what they want and be prepared to go after it, no matter what it is.”
